i would like to tell that i really apreciate my both donation to get this app.
when i see some body complain for the app, i think they are missing some aptitude to install and use the app on their phone or pc.
MyTether is complicated to install when you dont do it before, and when you dont know where to find instructions like each user specificaly need.

For me, the app is working A1. on wifi, bluetooth and usb too.
I have a destop computer and a netbook connected on the EVDO network of my PRE.
I can share and acces documents on each of em, and surf the web simultanousely on each of em.
The plus is: i can still receive a call when using it, but it interrupt the EVDO connection for the time of the call.

but i think that is missing a must for using MyTether as a avanced router.
what i would like, is a possibility to host a ftp and a web servers on my LAN, and use a dynamic dns client to set a public address on each server with selected port: 21 or 80 traffic enabled.

Maybe there is a way to do it, but i dont know it!

Then after a few minutes it starts getting slower & finally can not make a connection.

I have dis-abled NovaComd but it stiil gets slower. i have tried ping every 10 seconds.

Any suggestions??

Is this a handshake problem? I use it in wifi tether mode and in usb tether mode. Works great! As with any carrier, the USB tether mode is tricky to enable first time but works well.

However, for $15, the software/install process is greatly disappointing.

The chance of the product installing is too risky. You're better off buying a $20 USB to Wireless dongle than spending the $15 on a program that may or may not install. Unfortunately, I say this after spending 8 hours trying to follow all the troubleshooting steps on the forum. Alas, nothing has helped. Hopefully a new version will be released that will actual work.

Thankfully, Walmart is 24 hours. I am heading there now to buy said dongle. I am deeply disappointed and hope my donation helps to make this software better in some small way. Will I donate to software developers again? Probably not.
